Saddleback East, Inc. was formed in 1991 with 20 members and 100 acres of property. Since then, the club has grown to 150 members and 380 acres of property.
Saddleback is located near Bedford, Kentucky, about 1 hour northeast of Louisville, in the steep and hilly terrain between I-71 and the Ohio River. There is a private gravel driveway about 1/2 mile long off a paved road leading to the facilities (see aerial map below). This provides a very private setting for the club to hold activities and events.
Below are photos of our 30'x30' pavilion and bathhouse. There is plenty of room for camping and several are wired for electricity. The bathhouse has flushable toilets, hot showers and a wash bay at the rear for cleaning up your bike before heading home. There is a kiddie track and a playground area for the kids. A motocross track has been built at Saddleback East, featuring a "natural
terrain" area and a more challenging "supercross" area. Riders of all
levels can enjoy the track. Below is a picture of a double/triple jump on the
natural terrain side of the track. Triple this? Can you say WFO!

Saddleback East has many
trials riders as members and international trials experts ride here. These are the people
the rest of us love to have around because they want the most rugged, rocky and normally
unusable areas of the property. Below are some images of their favorite riding
areas.

There are many trails to ride at Saddleback. When there is good weather for Hare Scrambles
events, we usually have a course over 7 miles long. These trails vary from open
fields to sections that are extremely tight. The terrain is mostly hilly and steep.
There are plenty of thick woods and a creek that runs most of the year.
